BioImagene to be featured on 21st Century Health Television series

BY Dr. Keith J. Kaplan

I posted a previous note about a PBS Nightly Business Report on Omnyx that appeared on that program in July.  A story about Omnyx also appeared on CNBC's Squawk Box in June.

Now BioImagene will be featured on 21st Century Health Television series. The press release for this program states:

"JL Haber, Vice President of Programming at Multi Media Productions, added, “BioImagene is an innovative company with the unique mission of making digital pathology an affordable reality for pathologists worldwide. We are excited to have them as a guest on our program."

21st Century Health airs on CNBC (as paid programming) and the Fox Business Network (as paid programming). 21st Century Health may also be viewed through video on demand via www.21chtv.com. The 21CHTV Series is also available at more than 90 prestigious college universities, including Carnegie Mellon University, Howard University, Dartmouth College and Georgetown University.

It is very exciting to see increased exposure of digital pathology companies as further validation of this market and I think all of these stories whether they appear on PBS, Fox Business Network or CNBC allow the public to see the advances being made with these technologies as well as offer vendors an opportunity to share their vision on how their products being brought to market may impact healthcare and share with viewers of these programs what pathologists do and the impact they have on their healthcare.
