The Henry Ford Production System LEAN training program consists of 15.5 hours of CME education class-time held over 2 days.
The course is a didactic and hands-on introduction to LEAN management philosophy and manufacturing-based tools meant to prepare pathologists, administrators, and technical staff for the realities and potential successes of practicing in a LEAN environment. This session is specifically oriented to the disciplines of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology but the lessons are also applicable to clinical services.
