Survey: How to Balance Patient/Physician Interactions with EMRs

BY Dr. Keith J. Kaplan

As more doctors deploy electronic medical record (EMR) systems in their practices, some physicians have reported difficulty balancing “bedside manners” with inputting information into their EMRs. What’s is your best strategy for balancing EMR use and excellent physician/patient interactions?

The SoftwareAdvice.com (website) blog is hosting a survey to discover just how EMR systems have impacted physician/patient interactions, and what physicians have done to effectively use the technology in their practices. The survey is only a few questions, and should take only a couple of minutes to complete.

If you are a physician that currently uses an EMR, please head on over to the Software Advice blog to take the survey. Results will be collected over the next few months and then posted here: Survey: Patient Interactions with EMR/EHR Use.
