New Mexico, USA 10/27/2014 – Today Indica Labs, Inc. announced availability of the Image Analysis Hyper-Cluster™, the world’s fastest tissue image analysis system. The Hyper-Cluster™ is a server-based hardware and software system which achieves unprecedented analysis throughput of whole-slide images. It multiplies analysis throughput for high-volume histology labs and dramatically reduces the compute-time for large-scale pharmaceutical studies.

The Hyper-Cluster™ is designed for Indica Labs’ HALO™ platform. Employing up to four clustered computational servers and graph1up to 256 physical cores of CPU processing power, HALO’s Hyper-Cluster is able to analyze large batches of whole-slide images at an astounding rate. Based on a series of performance and benchmarking tests, HALO and the Hyper-Cluster significantly out-perform competitive solutions. Indica Labs CEO, Steven Hashagen commented “In a matter of hours or even minutes, pathologists and scientists can generate analysis results which would otherwise take days to produce.” He added “It’s exciting to see HALO continue to raise the bar in all aspects of image analysis including usability, applicability, precision, and now performance.”

Three Hyper-Cluster models are currently available: Hyper-Cluster 64, Hyper-Cluster 128, and Hyper-Cluster 256, each leverages an astounding number of physical CPU cores (64, 128, and 256) on either one, two, or four servers.
