Speedy Stereology

microDimensions, global provider of the world’s most powerful 3D histology reconstruction software Voloom®, has added Outspace™ to its digital pathology image analysis portfolio, the fastest and most easy-to-use stereology software for Cavalieri volume estimation from histology whole slide images.

microDimensions Outspace pairs our patent pending image registration techniques with an intuitive user interface to provide one of the fastest stereology software solutions available worldwide. It automatically aligns tissue samples distributed over multiple sections and propagates and pre-labels regions of interest so that manual labeling is reduced to a minimum. The software supports common whole slide images and is compatible with 3DHISTECH, Aperio, Bitplane, Hamamatsu, Huron, Leica, Nikon, Zeiss, and generic (.tiff, .jpeg) file formats, no matter whether they were acquired by brightfield, fluorescence, or laser scanning systems.
