Webinar Content:
In this era of consumerism and pay-for-performance, pathologists are compelled to measure outcomes, reduce costs and improve diagnostic proficiency.  The ability to document and demonstrate quality will soon be compulsory.  Prevailing quality assurance (QA) programs alone will not meet the needs of the rapidly changing landscape, which demands measured quality and demonstrated quality improvement.

Dr. Schwartz will discuss limitations of current anatomic pathology QA measures and assessments. He’ll review examples of comparative benchmarks that payers and the public are increasingly demanding – metrics that can help you manage risk and proactively meet those expectations for your pathologists, practices and institutions.

What will this discussion empower you to do?

  • Learn a new anatomic pathology case review process for QA by subspecialists
  • Increase pathologist diagnostic proficiency through confidential feedback and education
  • Discover the importance of objective measures and longitudinal benchmarking metrics
  • Understand how easy is it to implement and demonstrate quality to payers and the public
  • Address WHY ACTION IS NEEDED NOW
