Inspirata Seeks Sales Manager and Product Manager

SALES MANAGER – DIGITAL PATHOLOGY WORKFLOW SOLUTIONS

Position Description

Inspirata is looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to develop prospective accounts for our digital pathology workflow tools and solutions.  A successful Sales Manager will have experience in managing sales and services (preferably in Digital Pathology), knowledge of the medical device industry, experience establishing and executing quota carrying short- and long-term strategic sales plans with a proven record of success. This role requires a hands-on innovative sales leader that will also assume management responsibilities of the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Assume ownership for delivering on aggressive revenue goals through planning and executing sales strategies
  • Identify and build close relationships with a network of key C-level technical and executive leaders to promote adoption and use of Inspirata’s Digital Pathology products and solutions
  • Grow Inspirata’s footprint and expand business relationships in the U.S. and Canada through frequent engagement and other innovative communication strategies
  • Assist in designing and executing effective sales strategies, including pricing and profitability to achieve sales targets and company growth objectives
  • Must be capable of selecting, mentoring and motivating a team of direct reports to achieve team sales goals with the creation of a high performance culture

Ideal Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related industry
  • 10+ years relevant sales leadership experience, from lead generation to close
  • True understanding of business partnerships that involve consultative selling of high-end managed services in an emerging industry
  • A sheer desire and motivation to successfully sell first-generation products and solutions
  • Knowledge of hospital procurement environment involving multiple decision makers and a complex sales cycle

PRODUCT MANAGER – DIGITAL PATHOLOGY

Position Description

The Product Manager will support the definition and execution of product initiatives from concept through commercial launch.  Key activities will be to provide guidance to the team responsible for the development of products related to Inspirata’s Digital Pathology Business Unit by using industry knowledge expertise to enhance existing ideas and to develop new ideas based on direct contact with our clients and prospects. This position requires a unique blend of domain knowledge and technical savvy and the ability to see the big-picture to identify innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define the scope and lead the planning and implementation of a specific product
  • Collaborate with the software development team to identify and understand client requirements to translate into functionality
  • Identify and evaluate new product opportunities by gathering market information and validate the accuracy and marketability of that information
  • Conduct business requirements analysis of existing and potential customers for current and future products
  • Create a product road map that identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully develop and complete the product
  • Collaborate with the software development and implementation teams to manage product changes and interventions to achieve the required outcomes
  • Act as the resident expert on all assigned products
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create promotional materials and presentations
  • Evaluate potential partner relationships for ongoing product development and enhancements

Ideal Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering
  • Experience with digital pathology and medical device software and products
  • Medical industry experience, preferably in the field of pathology or oncology
