New resource by the University of Western Australia (UWA) Pathology Education and Learning Centre

BY Dr. Keith J. Kaplan

I would like to bring your attention to the University of Western Australia (UWA) Pathology Education and Learning Centre (PELC) website resource.

https://healthed.hms.uwa.edu.au/pelc/search.php

This resource currently comprises over 1200 human pathology specimens, including original pathology findings and high resolution images of the specimens. The specimens are from the F.A. Hadley Pathology Museum located at the UWA Health Campus located at the QEII Medical Centre in Nedlands, Western Australia.

The F.A. Hadley Museum contains over 3500 unique and educationally valuable human pathology specimens mounted in bottles. This entire collection will eventually be available to the general public via the PELC website.

The UWA PELC website just requires registration and is available to the global community free of charge as an educational resource.

Please contact me if you have any questions.
