Dr. Ackerman Dies

Whether you agreed with Dr. Ackerman or not, he was an original.  His extensive clinical career in   dermatopathology has including teaching thousands of students, residents and fellows.  His approach to inflammatory skin lesions is followed by many.       

I learned of his death through a pathology listserv with a link to the below paid death notice that was in the New York Times on December 6.
