BY Dr. Keith J. Kaplan

Guelph, Ontario April 15, 2013  Quorum Technologies  is pleased to announce a new partnership with Indica Labs to represent their next generation image analysis products in Canada.  HALOTM, Indica Labs’ flagship software platform, is designed to be the fastest, most scalable, user-friendly image analysis software for digital pathology applications.  The platform features Indica’s large portfolio of morphometric and colorimetric analysis tools for neuroscience, metabolism, oncology, and toxicological pathology.

halo-screen1-130HALOTM provides cell-by-cell results, making it ideally suited for quantification of cell-based immunohistochemistry (IHC) and In Situ Hybridization (ISH) assays.  Analysis can be performed across large studies of whole slide images, or on single field-of-view images. HALO’s modular design supports both affordable, small-scale, desktop environments and high-throughput, multi-node, networked environments.

“Image analysis is a key component for digital pathology” says John Arbuckle, President of Quorum Technologies. “Indica Labs’ extensive portfolio of algorithms, and their platform agnostic solution is a great addition to our digital pathology product line, and continues Quorum’s commitment to provide leading-edge solutions to our research and clinical customers in Canada.”

Steven Hashagen, Indica CEO added, “We are excited about the impact Quorum will have on the continued adoption of our HALO™ image analysis platform.  Quorum has a long and successful history of delivering advanced digital pathology systems in Canada and a deep understanding of what the ideal image analysis software needs to deliver.”
