PerkinElmer and Advanced Cell Diagnostics Enter Into Co-Marketing Agreement – Sign up for Live Webinar
PerkinElmer and Advanced Cell Diagnostics were very excited to announce that they had entered a co-marketing agreement at the recent Revolutionaries for Global Health Summit in Newton Massachusetts on May 8-9.
In this agreement both companies announced plans to develop joint applications for the visualization of multiplexed fluorescence RNA biomarkers in situ, in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues. In the past this approach has been very challenging as imaging multiple genes in highly autofluorescent tissue lacks sensitivity and specificity. Combining the latest RNAscope multiplexed fluorescence assays from Advanced Cell Diagnostics with multispectral imaging technologies from PerkinElmer, the companies plan to develop applications to enable the simultaneous imaging and analysis of multiple proteins in the context of tissue biopsies.
