Webinar from PerkinElmer: Multiplex RNA Biomarker Visualization in Cells, Fresh Frozen and FFPE Tissue
When: Wednesday, July 24, 2013|8:00 am Pacific|11:00 pm Eastern|4:00 pm GMT
Presenters: Nan Su, Director of R&D, Advanced Cell Diagnostics & James Mansfield, Director – Tissue Analysis Applications, PerkinElmer
Multiplex staining of RNA transcripts with traditional in situ hybridization is extremely difficult due to the complications of finding compatible assay optimization and probe hybridization conditions for multiple target probe sequences. In this educational webinar, attendees will learn how RNAscope Multiplex in situ hybridization can be used to visualize virtually ANY gene combination of up to four RNA transcripts simultaneously.
Attendees will learn:
- The basics of RNAscope in Situ Hybridization Technology
- Multiplex RNAscope Assay Configurations and Probe Design
- Applications in Cells, Fresh-Frozen and FFPE Tissue
- Overcoming FFPE tissue autofluorescence using the Nuance System
RNAscope Multiplex Assays provide the same exceptional sensitivity as our single-plex assays, allowing single-molecule detection of multiple RNA targets simultaneously, and is ideal for co-localization studies of any expressed gene set in nearly any tissue type.
