DPA Webinar “Real-World Examples of Practical Consultative/Collaborative Digital Pathology Programs” Recording Now Available
Last week the Digital Pathology Association (DPA), a non-profit organization that facilitates education and awareness of digital pathology applications, kicked off its 2013 webinar series. The first webinar, held Wednesday, July 10, 2013, was titled “Real-World Examples of Practical Consultative/Collaborative Digital Pathology Programs”. A recording of the webinar is now available on the DPA’s website to DPA members only.
The webinar, which had over 70 registrants, featured two presenters, Dr. Mark Tuthill from the Henry Ford Health System and Dr. Anil Parwani from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. They discussed their experience using robotic and whole-slide imaging technologies to support both intra- and extra-health system consultative services. They also provided tips about how to succeed in these ventures as well as how to achieve a maximum return-on-investment.
