PathXL at AACR 2014: Register Now
via PathXL blog:
PathXL’s European team are set to join their US colleagues again this week, this time for the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) annual meeting in San Diego.
This is an excellent opportunity for us to meet some of the most well-known and respected professionals in the digital pathology industry. As usual, PathXL will be hosting a dinner on the Sunday night of the event, and the growing number of seats is proof of its success!
Our CSO and Professor of Bioimaging, Dr Peter Hamilton, will be delivering a presentation at the Spotlight Theatre on Monday 7th, at 3pm. The talk, entitled “Unlocking Biomarker Discovery on with Next Generation Tissue Imaging”, is not only a great opportunity to get to know more on how digital pathology is helping to fast-track cancer research, but also to understand how one of our latest product, TissueMark, is helping to tackle an issue several recent studies have highlighted: the inaccuracy on estimating the percentage of tumour for macrodissection.
Our image analysis software, recently awarded Frost and Sullivan New Product Innovation 2014, automatically analyses, marks up and quantifies tumorous regions, providing both accuracy and consistency, thus representing a huge breakthrough in molecular pathology.
At the end of the presentation, we will also be offering a sneak peek on XploreTM, our state-of-the-art data and image repository, designed specifically for the management of digital images on the research environment. Xplore allows you to easily build and manage individual and collaborative studies, choose what information you want to share with whom, and rapidly search, add and retrieve data and images at any given time. Xplore is also fully integrated with TissueMark.
The Spotlight Theatre has limited seating, so if you want to ensure your attendance you can pre-register here.
In addition, all the attendees will automatically be eligible to win one of the two vouchers we have to offer. Each of these is worth up to $300 on a Springer Publishing textbook of your choice! We will announce the winner at the end of the presentation.
As usual, you can also find PathXL at the Exhibit Hall. Come by Booth 809 and meet our team, who will be available to answer any queries and demonstrate any of our products including TissueMark and XploreTM.
We will be posting live updates during the conference via our Twitter account. Let us know you’re there by using #AACR14or tweet @PathXL. See you in San Diego!
