Remote Medical Technologies Expands Their Offering at USCAP 2016
Remote Medical Technologies (RMT) will be returning to the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) 2016 Annual Meeting from March 12th to the 18th at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington. RMT will be demonstrating their iMedHD2™ Telepathology Solutions for Microscope, Grossing, as well as their Remote Robotic Control Microscope. RMT will also reveal the most versatile mobile aspects of their proven Cart-Based Telepathology Solution for rapid on-site evaluations.
iMedHD2™ Telepathology Solutions provide clinicians with the ability to instantly share secure, high definition images for immediate collaboration and decision making. There is absolutely no pre-load processing or scanning of digital slide images prior to transmission and reception of a live dynamic video stream. All RMT products are designed to enhance, extend, and protect past and current microscope and grossing station investments made by a medical facility. In addition to simply using a standard web browser with PCs and Macs, iMedHD2™ Telepathology Solutions provide digital accessibility to those distant pathologists or practitioners who want to use their own mobile devices, smartphones and tablets (i.e. iPhone™, iPad™, and Android™ devices).
USCAP has proved year after year that their annual meetings have become a global event in the world of pathology. The 105th Annual Meeting brings together various pathologists and related specialists from large hospitals to smaller private organizations. RMT is proud to be included in the list of exhibitors, in which RMT Founder and CEO Don Marchon states, “RMT is recognized for assisting leading clinicians make critical decisions where time matters most. RMT is honored to work with and provide pathologists what we do best…instant decision making among collaboration experts.”
The RMT iMedHD2™ Mobile Cart-Based Telepathology Solution instantly shares highly secure, high definition images from one remote location to others. This compact mobile workstation contains all components of RMT’s Scope-Based technology mounted directly onto an easy-to-roll cart. Live, dynamic HD video is streamed to remote pathologists from any room into which the cart has been re-located. If you plan on attending USCAP 2016, be sure to visit RMT at booth #601 and receive a hands-on demonstration of the iMedHD2™ systems.
