Dear Dr. Kaplan,
Dear colleague,

Congratulations from Europe with the achievement of a full integration of the digital pathology workflow into your anapath solution! Indeed, this is a challenge for all parties involved in these many-sided projects. However, contrary to your claim that SCC Soft Computer would be the first to achieve this milestone, I kindly would like to ask for your attention that such alike bidirectional integrations already have been realized a couple of times a few years ago in Europe by MIPS, the leader in Europe for LIS systems. This has already been realized with LIS DaVinci, our LIMS for anapath. These pioneer projects were among others brought to success in synergy with Philips and Roche and were honored with two Agoria eHealth awards in 2013 and 2017. Moreover, routine use of digital pathology instead of traditional microscopy is not that extraordinary in Europe anymore. You can find more information on MIPS and DaVinci on http://www.mips.be/be/en/solutions/pathology-solutions/
