Visiopharm Broadens its Diagnostic Digital Pathology Solution with Oncotopix® Scan
Visiopharm has entered an agreement with Hamamatsu to sell their portfolio of slide scanners, co-branded as Oncotopix® Scan, for clinical customers in Europe.
For many diagnostic pathology labs, implementing Digital Pathology is a major and often disruptive step. They are looking for a partner that can provide complete solutions in a way that is incremental, scalable, cost efficient and risk free in each step.
Our goal is to assist the customers building a modern and effective diagnostic workplace with new time saving and quality enhancing tools.
The Oncotopix® solution is designed to deliver:
• A functional diagnostic digital pathology solution with cutting edge tools that are easy and cost effective to integrate in existing workflows.
• Compatibility with all major pathology workflow solutions. Manage patient data and digital whole slides in a secure and effective way from within the LIS/LIMS or PACS system.
• An open platform enabling the user to add new diagnostic tools as the technology evolves.
Adding a slide scanner to the Oncotopix® solutions is a logical next step to provide a fully functional solution for Visiopharm’s diagnostic customers.
