3DHISTECH Releases CaseViewer™ with Z-Stack 3D Visualization
CaseViewer™ is 3DHISTECH’s free digital microscope application designed for supporting the histopathological diagnostic workflow and the microscope examination process in bioscience. It is used by thousands of clinical pathologists, researchers and medical students worldwide.
The CaseViewer™ version 2.3 was released on April 10, 2019 with Z-Stack 3D visualization.
Thanks to this new feature, Z-Stack slides can now be presented in 3D. This function provides a window into the investigation of histological structures in real 3D view. This feature is optimal for brightfield, fluorescent and also for confocal slide visualization.
The visualization process runs in real time without the need for a special computer configuration or a state-of-the-art graphics card. This function is bound to the Z-Stack 3D license. Functions are easy to use thanks to the simple and intuitive interface.
Another important new feature of CaseViewer 2.3 is that it can open the DICOM digital slide format.
Finally, slide anonymity can be achieved by removing the label area image from the slide. The anonymized slide can be shared freely and used for teaching and publishing purposes.
