Qritive’s Pantheon receives Class A Medical Device registration from Health Sciences Authority Singapore

Qritive is pleased to announce that Pantheon has been registered with the Health Sciences Authority Singapore (HSA) as a class A Medical Device.
Pantheon is a fully-customizable digital pathology platform with AI plugins to manage histopathology laboratory cases and assist pathologists in image analysis for cancer diagnosis. Pantheon also facilitates remote consultation and telepathology.
For more than a century, pathologists have used light microscopy to generate tremendous insights into pathogenesis as well as prognosis of a disease. Traditional light microscopy still remains the gold standard in diagnosing many diseases including cancers. The advent of precision medicine has dramatically improved the lives of patients but it also requires detailed pathology analysis. These rising needs have brought immense demand on the histopathology labs and pathologists in terms of workload and efficiency.
Whole-slide imaging and digitalization of histopathology workflow open new avenues in terms of image viewing, case management, storage and retrieval, and remote consultations. This also generates a vast quantity of data and thus requires digital pathology software to manage, store and analyse this data. The Qritive Pantheon is a web-based application that allows users to manage patient cases, store medical images on the cases and then view these images for analysis. Pantheon has been under development since 2018 with inputs from Singapore’s experienced pathologists. Pantheon is hardware agnostic and is able to present AI plugins for computational analysis. Pantheon is now available for clinical use in Singapore and India. Pantheon can be trialed and used for research purposes in other countries until further regulatory approvals are obtained.
