How to Use Pathology Synoptic Reporting to Improve Patient Care will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, March 24th from 230pm – 330pm EST.

Brigette Rabel, Synoptic Reporting Provincial Coordinator for British Columbia, will discuss how discrete data from pathology synoptic checklists maintained by mTuitive feeds into BC’s own Central Data Repository (CDR). With this data, BC developed individual dashboards for pathologists and surgeons to display a set of quality metrics specific to their practices. Pathologists and surgeons can see how their results compare against averages for their facility, health authority, and the province as a whole. 

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session featuring Ms. Rabel, Dr. Nick van der Westhuizen, MB, FRCPC, and Eric Daley, MS, PA (ASCP)CM.
