Mark J. Montine 
Senior Computer Specialist 
University of Washington 

Mark is an informatician with the BioRepository and Integrated Neuropathology (BRaIN) Lab, where he is responsible for much of the Lab’s imaging data storage, care, and disbursement. These data include slide, brain section, and whole brain images which are used by collaborators across the country in every kind of neuroscience research. Mark earned a Master’s in Health Informatics and Health Information Management from the University of Washington, and has nearly a decade of experience working with healthcare information. He plans to use his education, training, experience, and knowledge to continue to help the BRaIN lab grow and excel as a leader in neuroscience excellence, sharer of neuroscience samples and data, and collaborator with other world-class institutions.

Billy Heseltine 
Director of Cloud Services

Billy is responsible for Indica Labs Cloud Services, specializing in deployment and management of cloud environments optimized for digital pathology. Billy holds both AWS Certified Solutions Architect and HashiCorp Terraform certifications and has over 10 years of industry experience within IT. Billy joined Indica Labs as a Technical Solutions Engineer in 2018, was promoted to Technical Solutions Manager, EMEA in 2021, and moved into Technical Product Management in 2022 before his most recent promotion to Director of Cloud Services.
