Smart In Media Announces Version 3.2 PathoZoom®-SL, Scan and LiveView with AI-Enabled Bone Marrow Analysis
RALEIGH, N.C.—-Oct 25, 2025 — Smart In Media, Inc. Announces Version 3.2 PathoZoom®-SL, Scan and LiveView with AI-Enabled Bone Marrow Analysis
Smart In Media released its most recent major update, version 3.2 including many workflow, image transmission and LIS integration enhancements. Along with this is the groundbreaking availability of automated Bone Marrow Differential counting right on existing microscopes. Partnering with Cancilico GmbH, of Dresden, Germany Smart in Media continues to innovate microscopy based-pathology analysis.
MyeloAID, by Cancilico, is an AI-based technology transforming the diagnosis of hematological cancers. This innovation automates the morphological differentiation of bone marrow smears—a critical step in identifying various hematological disorders. It simplifies the traditional, time-consuming process of manually counting and classifying cells, delivering accurate results in a fraction of the usual time, and at a low cost. MyeloAID seamlessly integrates with Smart In Media’s PathoZoom®-SL, Scan and LiveView system.
“This is just another step in making daily-use microscopy digitally empowered,” said Don Van Dyke, VP and General Manager of Smart In Media, Inc., the North American subsidiary of Smart In Media, AG. “We continue to expand the ability of your microscope do things microscope have never done before.”
MyeloAID instantly performs differential counts at the click of a mouse button, correctly classifies cells and presents the results in vignettes for review and editing. This breaks the price barrier previously found in buying dedicated systems, by simply enabling any microscope to become an AI-tool for Hematopathology.
MyeloAID is one of many AI routines made available by Smart In Media for microscopes.
