Proscia: New in Concentriq AP: Smoother Review and Enhanced Performance

BY Erica Goodpaster

From the Proscia blog:

Concentriq AP v4.11 delivers key updates across image management, pathology experience, and enterprise controls to help labs run faster and smarter.

This release builds on Proscia’s recognition as Global 2026 Best in KLAS for Digital Pathology (Europe), where customers cited Concentriq for its ease of use and consistent delivery of high-impact updates.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Viewer enhancements that reduce friction during review
  • Workflow improvements that make integrated insights more reliable and actionable
  • Updates that enhance image ingestion and troubleshooting at scale
  • Enterprise controls that strengthen governance and data security

Expand Ibex AI insights with richer analysis and localization

As AI adoption scales, labs need tools that deliver both deeper precision and broader team accessibility. For labs using Ibex AI within Concentriq, this release delivers the granular prostate findings pathologists need while expanding language support for AI results.

  • Additional tissue and tumor measurements by Ibex Galen™ Prostate, including tissue length, tumor length, and tumor percentage, can now be accessed with increased detail and specificity directly in Concentriq—so users don’t need to leave the platform viewer to perform analysis.
  • Ibex AI analysis findings now display in the user’s preferred language (where supported by Ibex) across the product, including in worklists, the viewer, metadata panels, and heatmaps.

What this means for you:

You gain deeper visibility with core-specific results for prostate cases, and global teams can access AI insights in their local language. These updates also demonstrate Proscia’s continued commitment to interoperability and supporting more streamlined workflows with 3rd party AI.

Stay in flow with smoother panning and additional plug-and-play mouse compatibility

Pathologists build rhythm and muscle memory during review, so small workflow friction adds up quickly when reading slide after slide. This release enhances preference-driven controls that better match how pathologists actually navigate slides.

  • Additional personalized navigation controls that allow users to independently configure their panning direction preference for standard and ergonomic pan modes.
  • Plug-and-play support for 3DConnexion SpaceMouse Compact and Pro on Windows 11 and Mac – no configuration or driver installation required.

What this means for you:

Less stopping and starting during review, and a smoother experience tailored to the way you work—helping you stay focused and move faster.

Resolve ingestion issues faster

When images fail ingestion, the impact can delay downstream workflows, create backlogs, and pull ops teams into troubleshooting loops. Now, there’s a faster way—re-ingest failed images directly from the Image Management worklist.

What this means for you:

Operations teams can resolve ingestion issues faster, minimizing avoidable delays and keeping reviews on schedule.

Ingest .bif Images

Concentriq AP v4.11 adds support for .bif image formats from the Roche VENTANA DP 200 and DP 600 scanners. This expands on Concentriq’s broad interoperability—ensuring labs have the flexibility to adopt the best technology for their needs today while staying open to what’s next.

Reduce friction and increase control and consistency with new configuration options

To better support large, distributed teams, Concentriq AP v4.11 adds new configuration options that give admins more control over workflow consistency, helping pathologists stay focused and reducing avoidable variance across users and sites.

  • Configurable option to prevent multiple active tabs, helping reduce the risk of confusion between cases.
  • User-defined fields can now be translated, supporting better usability, data capture consistency, and user experience across global teams.

What this means for you:

Admins can configure guardrails that reduce the risk of case mismatch when working across multiple tabs, and standardize how key fields are completed across languages.
