Dr. Wes has a recent post on price-breaks for the uninsured (table courtesy of Dr. Wes). While the names may mean little to folks outside of greater Chicago – an interesting bill, the Illinois Fair Patient Billing Act, recently became law and the impact of the price concessions that uninsured patients can request were printed in the Chicago Tribune on Monday, irrespective of income level.
