Dr. Manu Sebastian joins OptraSCAN’s Medical Advisory Board
San Jose, CA, September 17th, 2019: OptraSCAN®, the leading On-Demand Digital Pathology solution provider today announced that Dr. Manu Sebastian, Associate Professor & Director – The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) has joined as a member of OptraSCAN’s Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Sebastian is board certified by American College of Veterinary Pathology, American College of Toxicology and American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine with more than 20 years of experience in both academia and biopharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Sebastian held faculty positions in University of Georgia, Cornell University and Columbia University, where he was the Chief of Comparative Pathology. His primary interest is translational pathology in cancer with special interest in cancer drug discovery. He has extensive experience in pharmaceutical & medical devices efficacy studies, safety evaluation and regulatory approval. After working for 6 years in biotech industry, he joined MDACC in August 2016. The core he manages in MDACC provides image analysis for both research and drug discovery.
