As the official statement by ICZMP reads,

”Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital Research Institute (ICZMP) is a leading reference center in the field of obstetrics, gynecology and pediatrics, which conducts scientific research and provides specialized medical services for the residents of the central region of Poland. ICZMP together with the Technical University of Lódz implements the project about virtual medical data platform and modern diagnostics “MDB-MEDICAL DATA BANK.” For this purpose and to create digital pathology infrastructure the PANNORAMIC 1000 scanner has been installed due to highest capacity and fastest scanning on the market.

Thanks to digital technology, the data will be digitized and then anonymized, grouped, organized, described with metadata and made available to the public sector. For the scientific field of activity complete solutions were equipped with a whole bundle QuantCenter application for image analysis and with SlideCenter application for server-based slide management and teleconsultation.”
