Pathomation is looking for an integration manager to support our expansion in the area of medical diagnostics software.
At Pathomation the system integration manager plays an essential role to integrate Pathomation software in complex customer environments both in healthcare environments and education platforms. The system integration manager performs a variety of tasks including managing enterprise-level projects, and cultivating new business prospects. In addition, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, assessing ongoing projects, and providing feedback to the team. As a system integration manager, you will contribute to the strategic design process to identify more integration opportunities. You are also responsible for reviewing integration plans, reports, and test procedures.

Integration Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage software integration of existing Pathomation software products into client based systems.
- Build technical solutions for customers utilizing ELT, data integration, etc.
- Architect and maintain API endpoints for on-premise and cloud systems
- Develop real time systems integrations
- Effectively translate clinical needs and requirements to IT requirements
- Work with the development team and business requirements leads to make sure that the integration is planned, according to the requirements and budget
- Manage a direct report Java developer
- Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies.
- Establish Pathomation policy and procedure on security and safety management, infrastructure management, system management, crisis management and emergency preparedness that is aligned with health care customers’ expectations.
- Identify opportunities for technology refresh and retirement, infrastructure optimization, and consolidation of technical infrastructure.
- Improve API integrations by studying current practices
Desired experience:
Experience in product integrations technology/products is essential
- Significant experience managing and supporting software applications– this role will be required to have broad experience with software application management or administration
- Previous experience with HL7 and/or FHIR messages and/or API interfaces
- Working knowledge of medical software in hospital and lab environments: EMR, LIS or other e-health applications
- Good understanding of medical imaging standards (DICOM) would be an asset
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Medical Imaging, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field .
- Experience with agile software development methodologies.
- Familiar with web development software stacks, especially Microsoft .NET Framework.
- Familiar with DevOps tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, Jenkins and Docker.
- Familiar with cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.
