Panu Kauppila is the Chief Product Officer (CPO) of Aiforia, playing a key role in defining Aiforia’s product portfolio and prioritizing product development. He has more than 25 years of experience in productization and management of innovation in the medical technology sector in international companies. Thus, Panu has a profound understanding of how, with strong technological expertise, scalable products can be built on top of a software platform for demanding preclinical and clinical use. He holds an M.Sc. in Physics and Medical Technology.
Yrjö Häme, Ph.D., Director of Software Development at Aiforia
Yrjö Häme is the Director of Software Development at Aiforia, overseeing the team behind the AI model-building platform, Aiforia Create. Drawing on a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and a career spanning data science and product management, Yrjö specializes in bridging the gap between complex AI research and practical healthcare solutions. He is currently guiding the development of Aiforia’s Foundation Engine to drive the next generation of digital pathology.
Gary Chisholm, MBA, Director of Sales (The Americas) at Aiforia
Gary Chisholm has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on labs and diagnostics. He served as Regional Vice President of Sales at Inform Diagnostics (formerly Miraca Life Sciences), where he led record-setting sales growth in the dermatopathology division while also working closely with pathology and lab operations on developing technology differentiators for the business. Gary’s expertise in AI digital pathology and customizing workflow solutions has led to roles at Ibex Medical Analytics and now Aiforia, where he serves as Sales Director for the Americas.
