The data focused on Twitter conversations using the #Doctors20 hashtag during the “Doctors 2.0 & You” June 6-7, 2013 gathering in Paris.

With 7,464 tweets over the two day event and just over 400 people present, Doctors 2.0 & You has become the second most tweeted healthcare conference in Europe of all time, second only to the 9 000 tweets of the four-day European Society of Cardiology Congress (#ESCcongress), which attracted 30 000 visitors. What’s more, the Twitter conversation that was centered around the Doctors 2.0 & You hashtag increased by nearly 50% over the previous year’s tweet activity.

Among the key findings, via an analysis of the actual vocabulary used by participants, it was discovered that the words “patients, patient, and doctors” were the top three keywords used in tweets bearing the #Doctors20 hashtag during the conference.
