About our Speaker:
For 25 years, Dr. Mitchelson was Head of the Department of Electron Microscopy at the Royal Air Force Institute of Pathology and Tropical Medicine in Aylesbury, UK. After that he held Head of Department positions at several hospitals in the UK and Middle East, and the role of Diagnostic Electron Microscopy Tutor at the Manchester Children’s Hospital. Since 2004, he has held the position of Histology Supervisor at the Harefield Hospital in Middlesex, UK. In this role, he has validated and successfully uses Aperio ePathology for frozen section work.
