Smart Reporting, a digital health enterprise based in Munich, Germany, develops software for medical reporting in radiology and pathology. The software creates structured, standardized, high-quality reports and clinical data with the help of decision trees and is integrated with a competent assistant that makes specialist knowledge accessible. Reports are complete and fully machine-readable and can thus be directly used for medical databases. The software is a platform solution and can be integrated with hospital information systems, one-click translation, semantic speech recognition, clinical trial reporting and artificial intelligence algorithms for automated image analysis.

As a Senior Pathologist at Smart Reporting, you will be developing medical content for our Smart Pathology application. You will work in a team of other expert physicians to create structured reporting templates & modules for our users including detailed background information. You will also work closely with our sales and project management team as leading hospitals, private practices, and scientific societies are our customers and require individualized and high-quality medical content for our platform. As a Senior Pathologist, you would also directly interact with customers (on-site and at conferences) to understand their demands and needs regarding the medical content.

What would be your responsibilities?

• Create a structure for standardized pathology reporting templates, using a structured decision tree
• Develop medical content together with a team of expert physicians, editors, and medical students
• Present the product to partners and customers onsite in the institutions or at events & congresses
• Ensure the quality of the reporting templates as part of our quality management / release system

REQUIREMENTS

Who we are looking for?

• You hold an M.D. degree with detailed knowledge in pathology
• You can juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail. Meticulous work ethic and quick understanding of complex medical knowledge are essential character traits for this position
• You have excellent communication skills
• You show a strong interest in new technologies and have experience in working with software
• You offer an outgoing personality to build a network
• You have excellent English language skills. Additional languages are a plus

Nice to haves:

• 1+ years of work experience in the field of pathology
• Writing papers about your work is a plus
• A proven track record of given scientific presentations and good public speaking skills. While not mandatory, this would enhance your position as we are looking for physicians who could also present our product to new customers together with our sales team
