Budapest, Hungary – 3DHISTECH introduces the hardware upgrade of PANNORAMIC® MIDI II, the best-selling, award-winning member of the PANNORAMIC® digital whole-slide scanner range.  New features include:

• Even higher image quality for fluorescence slides thanks to the new slide loading compartment: The new, covered slide loading compartment protects fluorescence slides from prolonged exposure to unnecessary light, resulting in even higher image quality during fluorescence scanning.
• Status LED indicator for more user-friendly operations: A LED light on the slide loading compartment indicates the status of the slide tray.

In 2016, the latest International Scanner Contest in Berlin, Germany, the PANNORAMIC® MIDI II won the Gold medal in the following categories:

• Image quality at 40x
