Although the in-person AACR 2020 Annual Meeting has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a virtual meeting will be held on June 22-24, 2020.

In connection to the virtual AACR 2020, we are proud to invite you to 3DHISTECH’s own virtual symposium and 3D exhibition booth between June 22-24, 2020. Our virtual booth will be live starting 0:00 UTC on June 22 here.

Join us to hear three great stories about how our customers applied and adapted 3DHISTECH’s advanced technology to their workflow in various cancer research environments.

Digital & Computational Pathology in Research and Clinical Space
presented by Yukako Yagi, PhD Associate Professor, Director of Digital Pathology, The Warren Alpert Center for Digital and Computational Pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York

”The central aim of our research is to further enrich our knowledge of disease by integrating computational pathology data and yield a comprehensive, multidimensional analysis to discover novel morphological features and disease patterns that can lead to faster diagnoses and positively impact patient care. In this presentation, applications which are moving from research to clinical will be discussed including CISH and FISH analysis with variety of WSI scanners.”

From Multiplexing to Artificial Intelligence: New Trends in Tissue Microarraying
presented by Prof. Dr. phil. nat. Inti Zlobec, Head of Translational Research Unit Institute of Pathology, University Bern

”Tissue Microarrays (TMAs) are known traditionally as biomarker screening tools, but new developments, including the introduction of digital pathology and automated tissue core punching allow for a wide range of next-generation applications. Here, we focus on the use of TMAs in multiplexing, molecular mapping and artificial intelligence.”

8-Color Multiplex Serial Section Alignment & Reconstruction
presented by Eric Chan, Digital Microscopist, Molecular Cytology Core Facility, Memorial Sloan Kettering, New York

“Multiplex staining with eight colors was successfully performed on 64 5-micron serial paraffin sections of an appendix and the 3D structure was successfully reconstructed. Five markers were detected by immunofluorescence and three markers by immunohistochemistry.”

Additionally, visitors to our virtual booth will have an opportunity to see how our digital pathology solutions can contribute to great research results.

Out of our wide product portfolio presented at the Virtual AACR 2020, let us highlight

  • The PANNORAMIC Confocal digital slide scanner – owing to its innovative structured illumination confocal imaging technology, Confocal offers brightfield and fluorescence confocal scanning in unprecedented quality for molecular pathology applications;
  • The TMA Grand Master – the fastest, highest capacity and most user friendly tissue microarrayer on the market;
  • The PANNORAMIC 250 Flash III digital slide scanner, which offers a versatile (brightfield and fluorescence), high-quality and high-speed scanning solution to high-volume scanning tasks; and
  • The QuantCenter multiple-module image analysis platform designed for whole-slide quantification in histopathology and molecular pathology.

Our experts will be available to answer any questions that may come up during your visit.

Our virtual booth will be live at 0:00 UTC on June 22 – you only need to click the link, register in a minute and you’re in.  Please save the date in your calendar.

We are looking forward to meeting you!
