AIRA Matrix invites you to a symposium on the development and validation of Deep Learning algorithms for the detection and quantification of the major features of Progressive Cardiomyopathy (PCM) in rodents.
Rodent PCM comprises a constellation of microscopic changes, commonly seen as a spontaneous background finding in rat and mouse hearts. The incidence and severity of PCM may increase as a result of cardiotoxicity; and toxicity-related morphologic changes can overlap with those of PCM.
We present a Deep Learning algorithm that detects, quantifies, and helps discern features of PCM like :
- Cardiomyocyte degeneration/necrosis
- Mononuclear cell infiltrate
- Fibrosis
- Mineralisation
