Grey Slide ImagingOttawa– October 20, 2021 – Grey Slide Imaging announced today an exclusive worldwide technology license agreement with the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Grey Slide will use the technology to enhance it’s digital scanning within their end-to-end digital pathology solution which includes: a whole slide imaging scanner, image analysis software with embedded artificial intelligence (AI) and workflow management software.

“It is an honour to partner with with Grey Slide Imaging on the commercialization of our work using Fourier Phase Contrast Microscopy.” said Dr. Chandra S. Yelleswarapu, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, University of Massachusetts Boston. “It will be exciting to work with Grey Slide on applying this technology to the digital pathology field” said D.V.G.L.N. Rao, Distinguished Professor Emeritus, Department of Physics, University of Massachusetts Boston.”

This novel and patented imaging technique provides improved contrast and spatial resolution for studying cellular behaviors and pathways to gain a deeper understanding of functions, disease mechanisms and responses to treatments. This technology will also be instrumental for imaging subcellular organelles or compartments.

Grey Slide’s unique digital pathology ecosystem enables pathologists to detect and diagnosis diseases faster and with better accuracy than ever before.
