AiforiaEarlier this week Aiforia Technologies launched the Aiforia Community Platform — one of the only available platforms of this nature, for pathologists and scientists utilizing AI for image analysis software in preclinical and clinical settings. The company’s users, ranging from some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies to the world’s top-ranked hospitals and medical institutions, now have free access to the Community Platform.

The goal of the Aiforia Community Platform is to bring together the global Aiforia community of healthcare professionals, which currently spans more than 50 countries. The Platform gives its users a unique opportunity to: learn and share best practices directly with peers and Aiforia’s extensive team of scientists from a variety of medical fields, access exclusive contributed resources from industry experts, along with a portfolio of other key features.

“Creating the Aiforia Community Platform really ferments our customer-centric approach. We aim to ensure our users feel empowered, to harness the full potential of their own expertise while using paradigm-shifting medical technologies and for their voices to be elevated within a community of their peers,” explains Emma Vehviläinen, Chief Marketing Officer at Aiforia Technologies.

The voices of the users

Prior to the full release this week, Aiforia Technologies ran a soft launch open to its over 3,000 existing users from hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and academic institutions such as the Mayo Clinic, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, MIT, and others. Within a few hours of inviting customers to test out the upcoming platform, numerous users signed up. Hear from their experiences of testing out the Aiforia Community Platform:

“What makes the Aiforia Community Platform unique, is that it allows Aiforia users to connect and share ideas or tips easily, regardless of what project they are working on or what company they represent. This is a wonderful way to bounce ideas off of other knowledgeable users, bring attention and receive advice on troubleshooting, and just enthuse about artificial intelligence in general,” explains Dr. Jillian Athey DVM, Veterinary Anatomic Pathology Resident at University of Illinois.

“The Aiforia Community is unique because it truly creates a sense of community. The learning and problem solving that takes place on the platform happens through friendly interactions with peers. On the technology side this is very different from support tickets, bug reports and other standard ways of interacting with software,” explains Dr. Aleksandra Żuraw, DVM, Ph.D., Dipl. ACVP Veterinary Pathologist and Publisher of the Digital Pathology Place.

The future of Community

Plans are already in motion for constantly evolving the Aiforia Community Platform. Aiforia aims to give Community users the chance to take part in online events with industry-leading experts, broader product adoption is expected as Aiforia rolls out new tools and features while ideation functionalities will benefit both customers and Aiforia’s product developers to deliver the best possible user experience. The Aiforia Community Platform is paramount to ensuring the healthcare professionals utilizing Aiforia’s software are able to do so with the highest degree of support and to engage with a community of peers around the world.
