With continued thanks to support from Aperio and specifically Dan Walker, several cases are queued for several more Case of the Month posts. You will also see a survey to post your diagnosis. A brief review of the diagnosis will follow next week.
The Case of the Month for February is from a liver mass in a 46 year old male.
The patient presented with right upper quadrant pain. No other masses or lesions were apparent on CT of the chest, abdomen and pelvis. Resection of the mass was performed. The non-neoplastic liver was non-cirrhotic and otherwise unremarkable.

i think it is a metastatic pancreaticoblastoma. however this is largely a childhood tumour. the nuclear characteristics and the acinar structures are suggestive.
