Top 10 Reasons Why Pharmacology is Better than Women
In response to the “Top 10 Reasons Why Pathology is Better than Men” the males in our med school class came up with list, from the lost book of quotes and lists I recently found. So, in honor of equality and purely meant as humor and not a political commentary on the state of gender relations, here are 10 reasons why pharmacology is better than women:
10. Diazepam and Demerol
9. There is not an inverse relationship between how much pharmacology you know and the amount of money that you have
8. The side effects of drugs are more predictable
7. Pharmacology doesn’t mind that it puts you to sleep
6. Pharmacology doesn’t mind if you blow it off to watch sports on TV
5. Pharmacology doesn’t mind if you study other subjects
4. Pharmacology (even as presented by [a hard to understand professor]) is much easier to understand
3. Combination therapy is prescribed in pharmacology
2. A drug doesn’t care that you have to look at flash cards to remember how its name and how it looks
